Accomodation and the rest of it

Toulouse is the fourth biggest City in France. So there's tones of accommodation ranging from little guesthouses to massive five star hotels.

The wedding itself will be a civil ceremony in the town hall. They don't mess about with readings, music etc in France so expect the whole thing to last about 20 mins max. Then we are all going to the reception venue which is about a 15 minute drive from the town hall. We will either have to get taxis or we'll try to sort out a bus of some sort.

The town hall is smack in the centre of Toulouse (see Google map). So you are probably best going for a central hotel. Google maps has a couple of recommendations if you click here. Or you can try any of the usual websites. Again Google is your friend.

If you really want to make everyone else jealous, I'd recommend the four-star Grand Hotel de l'Opera, which is on the same square as the Town Hall. A standard room at the end of August works out about £100 a night at the moment (writing this April 19). Considering it's mega flash and has a Michelin star restaurant... doesn't sound toooo bad.
